There are times when I’m completely absorbed in photography, and there are stretches when my camera gathers dust for months. But I always come back to it. I keep learning, experimenting, and taking pictures of the things I don’t want to forget. I’m also always asking my family about the people and places in our old photographs, listening to their stories, and asking to borrow their pictures so I can scan and preserve them. Some of these images are decades old, and each one holds a piece of our family history.
